I joined F&G Botswana 0n the 23rd of March 2011 working as a cleaner. I worked as a cleaner for almost 8 years. During this period I was responsible for keeping buildings (offices) in clean and orderly condition, and I will perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors, shampooing rugs, removing rubbish and cleaning toilets. During my spare time I was responsible for sewing filter bags to make tobacco leaves for easy extraction. In this period of journey, more obstacles where encountered as a cleaner but because of my diligence, hardworking and sympathy, I decided to self-manage my routine tasks in terms of time allocation.

The problems I came across during my work period are when my work mates were littering around after conducting my cleaning session. To overcome this problems we held a session classes to educate about the company’s goals towards cleaning e.g. the introduction of 5s where implemented. The experience I have gained since joining F&G Botswana are time management, the investment of 5S, sewing and working ethics  

From 2019 I was chosen as warehouse trainee Supervisor to delight my skills which served for almost 2years before my promotion was announced. This period I have learnt to make production plan, software for spare parts, costing warehouse inventory, calculate purchase dates and make review to recommend date renewal, update BURS stock inspections books etc. According to my dedication, intelligence and integrity, I was promoted to be assistant warehouse supervisor by the management in July 2021. After my promotion I encountered few challenges e.g. sending costing with some minor error together with packing list and also forgetting to add/remove some parts in the software. From this challenges, I examined each phrase from the response of the management so that personally I can deal with my mistakes precisely. Due to my dedication i had a keen eyesight towards my work progression to overcome the challenges

F&G Botswana has played a major role in my life, because in this 10 year journey, I have gained a lot of experience and knowledge in association of my art work, firstly is the computer literacy which open my inner core of knowledge. F&G Botswana have groomed me in terms of human intelligence, I have acquired several certificates in conjunction of their help to improve my psychology.
